You should know what you’re drinking and trusting to be water that is inherently good for you. Here are some terms that you should know.
Distilled:
The water is boiled until a vapor (steam) is produced. The vapor is collected and cooled until it returns to a liquid state. Distilled water is often used for non-drinking purposes. Many experts say that distilled water is perhaps the cleanest version of bottled water available, but it is not optimum for human consumption.
Reverse Osmosis:
Hydraulic pressure is applied to separate water from its nutrients and any impurities. All the “good for you” nutrients are removed.
Purified Water:
Has been treated through distillation, reverse osmosis, or deionization. Enough said.
Natural Spring Water:
Water derived from a natural underground formation from which water flows naturally to the surface of the earth. It is inherently rich in trace minerals that provide needed nutrients.
